Anas Younes, MD
SVP, Global Head of Hematology (Early & Late Stage) Oncology R&D, Chief Medical Officer
- Clinician-scientist with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients with lymphoma
- Prior to AstraZeneca, Dr. Younes served as Chief of the Lymphoma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
- Directed clinical and translational research at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Lymphoma and Myeloma for 20 years
- Published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals

Robert Chen, MD
VP, Global Head of Hematology Clinical Development and Strategy
- Completed medical school at Northwestern University, followed by residency and fellowship at the University of Colorado
- Served for a decade as Associate Professor of Medicine at City of Hope in Duarte, CA, including serving as Disease Lead for Lymphoma and Associate Director of the Lymphoma Center
- Served as primary investigator on more than 80 clinical trials while at City of Hope
- Published papers in more than 100 peer-reviewed journals

Simon Rule, MD

- Served as Professor of Hematology at Peninsula Medical School in Plymouth, UK

- Delivered over 100 lectures globally
- Published nearly 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals

Nina Shah, MD
Global Head of Multiple Myeloma Clinical Development and Strategy
- Completed her fellowship in hematology-oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center following her residency at Columbia University and medical school at New York University
- Served as a faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco and focused on plasma cell disorder and multiple myeloma research
- Continues to serve as voluntary Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco
- Published more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed journals

Anthony Mato, MD
Global Head of CLL Clinical Development and Strategy
- Practices at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY
- Served as Director of the CLL Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
- Completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and served as Associate Professor of Medicine
- Focused his research on novel immunotherapies, signal transduction inhibitors, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and immunotherapy agents

Bruno Medeiros, MD
Global Head of Leukemia Clinical Development and Strategy
- Received medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Paraná in Brazil; completed post-graduate training at the University of Colorado in Denver and the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada
- Led several institutional investigator-initiated clinical trials and collaborated in multi-institutional clinical trials
- Authored more than 120 peer-reviewed manuscripts and previously held the position of Associate Editor for the Leukemia Panel for Cancer.Net
- Member of the editorial board for Leukemia Research; served as a reviewer for several other journals including JCO, Blood, Leukemia, Haematologica and Cancer

Yasuhiro Oki, MD

- Pursued a hematology/oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (and was mentored by Anas Younes)
- Member of the faculty at the Department of Hematology and Cell Therapy at Aichi Cancer Center in Japan and the Department of Lymphoma and Myeloma at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX
- Published more than 160 papers in peer-reviewed journals
